Cycle from Menaggio to Sorico, the route follows Lake Como’s north-western shore through lovely mountain scenery, small fishing villages, and along sites of historical and artistic interest. The route sections of the former state road 340, now closed to traffic, and the new cycle/pedestrian lanes along the lake. It also follows brief sections along the current main road where bikers must pay attention to the traffic. For families, we recommend the cycle path from Dongo to Gravedona or from Domaso to Sorico only.
The lake offers beautiful surroundings to explore, charming villages, and many sports options such as walking and cycling (mountain biking & cycling). But of course, you should also visit the beautiful villas and museums and much, much more! In Menaggio (15 minutes by car) there are very nice terraces, shops and restaurants, a miniature golf course, a swimming pool with Lido, but also a beautiful golf course, one of the oldest golf courses in Europe!
