Burgundy and Champagen are a made for cycling, cycle along quite countryside roads over the rolling hills of Bourgogne. The region is dedicated with more than 500 kilometers of perfect tarmac roads through world famous vineyards.
There are two major cycling routes. The most famous is the route des Grands Crus around Beaune.
The route stretches out from and around Dijon up to Beaune and you will cross the most prestigious wineries. South of Beaune the route continues all the way up to Santenay. There are around 38 wine villages to discover in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune so take your time and enjoy Burgundy at full!
The little route covers only 22 km in the heart of the Bourgogne vineyards. Just cycle from Beaune to Pommard, Volnay, Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet and finish in Santenay. The route is slightly hilly and goes all along all famous wineries
Cycle through charming wine villages and visit some of the best vineyards. Just taste! And don’t drink too much!
