Eroica 2026 Bike Rentals

Eroica 2026 Bike Rentals. Event date, Sunday, October 4, 2026 (TBC). Please note: vintage bikes and sizes are limited, especially during the week of L’Eroica. Bike rental bookings must be submitted at least 3 days in advance, with a minimum of 2 bike rental days. The price per bike is €200.00 during the Eroica event, outside the event prices are on request. Gaiole is a small, picturesque village right in the middle of the Chianti region. This beautiful village is situated between Florence and Siena.

Eroica 2026 Bike Rentals

Every year on the first Sunday of October it seems that the time stops for a magic weekend, and we all go back in time for the L’Eroica bicycle vintage event. Cycling in Italy is great, especially in the beautiful regions of Tuscany & Chianti. In 1997, the Gran Fondo L’Eroica started with some 100 riders. In the last edition, there were over 8,000 participants from all around the world.

The L’Eroica passes the famous Strade Bianche. The world-famous Stade Bianchi refers to the white gravel roads in the Siena region, and roughly 35% of the course is on the Strade Bianche through the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. The L’Eroica event is an event for vintage cyclists. The week is full of festivities and the whole ambiance of the event is superb. You can choose the following options 38 km, 75 km, 135 km, or the challenging 205 km.

The Eroica Vintage bicycles can be collected on Thursday morning, and you can leave the bikes after the Eroica event or to be picked up on Sunday evening or Monday morning at the “Carube” stand.
