For cycling, we recommend a route through the cork oak forest of the Limbara mountain range to Tempio Pausania. This is the administrative capital of the province Olbia-Tempio and is well known for its typical granite buildings. Then you’ll cross the villages of Aggius and Valledoria through La Valle della Luna “moon valley”’ before you reach Castelsardo. The old town of Castelsardo is a picturesque historic town on the north coast of Sardinia. Especially the old town is worth fully visiting with Castelsardo’s castle (Castello dei Doria) as the main principal tourist attraction (103 km).
