For cycling, we recommend riding a 44 km cycling trip (guided if possible) a loop ride  Prinos – Viran Episkopi – Loutra – Pigi – Adele – Rethimno. You will ride on quiet, asphalt, back-country roads, through small villages and scenic landscapes. Short climbs of small inclines and long flat sections keep the pace relaxed. In Rethimno you take a break to enjoy the cosmopolitical life of the old town. The return way is along the coastline, flat for the most part. The recreational ride is a perfect introduction to cycling in the region.
